Technical Guide

Installation and configuration of UNECORE Pulse — alarm gateway integrated with Milestone XProtect.

Requirements

  • Milestone XProtect 2025 R3 — Management Client + Smart Client + Event Server
  • Windows Server 2019/2022 or Windows 10/11 Pro (64-bit)
  • .NET Framework 4.8 (shipped with Windows 10+)
  • Administrator privileges for installation

Installation

Close Management Client and Smart Client, then run the installer as Administrator:

.\UNECORE-Pulse-Setup-<version>.exe

The installer detects Milestone installations and configures plugins, engine, and License Plugin automatically. WebView2 Runtime is downloaded if missing.

Configuration

All configuration is done through the Admin View at:

http://localhost:8742/admin-view

Or via Management Client: tree → UNECORE → PULSE.

Register a panel

Tab Panels → New:

  • Name — identification shown in MC/SC
  • Account — unique panel code
  • Protocol — one of the 9 supported
  • Port — default per protocol (overridable per panel)
  • Site — hierarchical organization (optional)

For protocols with commands (ISEC-V1/V2, VISONIC-NAP, JFL, BOSCH), also configure outbound credentials.

Zones

In the panel card, tab Zones:

  • Zone number (matching panel programming)
  • Descriptive name
  • Type: Normal, Perimeter, Fire, Panic
  • Associated Milestone cameras (visual context in Smart Client)

Arm/disarm schedules

Config → XProtect Rules. Day of week, arm/disarm time, and tolerance window (default 15 min). Alarms outside the expected window raise high-priority alerts.

AMT password (ISECNet V2)

Required for arm/disarm commands on ISECNet V2 panels. Configure in Config → General → Network & Security → AMT Password.

AMT 8000 is the Intelbras panel model, not the protocol. AMT 8000 panels use ISECNet V1 or V2.
